Witco was founded in 1951 by the late Mr. M.P.C. Mohamed, one of the pioneers of the Plastic industry in Chennai. The firm was established in George Town, Madras with primary activity being wholesale and retail sales of travel goods and accessories. West India Plastic Trading Co was also the first manufacturer of hand crafted luggage and gradually transformed into a trusted retailer of repute. Witco is a specialty multi brand retail chain showcasing premium luggage, apparel and accessories.
